Two current Carolina Panthers -- and one former Panther and Minnesota Viking -- are subject to claims that they used steroids in the weeks before the Panthers' Super Bowl appearance
two years ago:
Carolina Panthers Todd Sauerbrun and Jeff Mitchell and Todd Steussie -- a former Panther and Viking -- had steroid prescriptions filled by a West Columbia, S.C., doctor under investigation by federal authorities, according to a "60 Minutes Wednesday" report.
In a release Tuesday, the CBS News show said those players had prescriptions for testosterone cream filled within two weeks of the Panthers' appearance in the 2004 Super Bowl.
Kids, don't do steroids. There are many bad
side effects: liver damage, rage, hair loss, hypogonadism, and
false starts.
