Dang!
I'm very disappointed by Argentina's loss to Germany today. And on penalty kicks no less. I haven't been following soccer all that long (about a month actually) but that seems like a lousy way to break a tie at the end of one overtime period. I'm with Old Ben who has a lot more years invested in the sport than I do. Let 'em play until someone drops. Argentina ended up losing their starting goalie to injury and played the waning minutes and overtime lopsided in favor of defensive players with no substitutions left. Now, like most of the rest of the world, I guess I'll be cheering for Brazil, not because they need to win it again but just because they are so damn much fun to watch. Tho for 2010 my early money is on Ghana. Go Black Stars!
