FRC hires Miranda on immigration
Tony Perkins has announced that the FRC has hired Manuel Miranda to help shape immigration policy:
We have also retained Manuel Miranda to assist us as we finalize FRC's immigration policy. Manny is a veteran of Capitol Hill, where he served as advisor to Sen. Bill Frist on immigration prior to serving as counsel to the majority on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Manny Miranda is himself a highly accomplished immigrant. Manny's folks came here from Cuba via Spain. Manny reminds us all of the daily contributions being made to our country by the rich stream of legal immigration.
Miranda's tenure with Bill Frist ended after it was discovered he was leaking memos to the press which he was inappropriately accessing. See the links above or check out Salon.com.
