Two Sunday comics
Both of these made me laugh today. I'm posting the first one because I just did a Star Wars post Friday and this comic only really works well if you are a big enough geek (like me) to hear all the real dialog in your head as you read it. I'm posting the second one partly because I know Hammer really hates REM. I'm also posting it in a fit of disbelief that the song is really 20 years old. I can (kind of) live with Star Wars being 30 because I remember that as a kid, but REM is firmly part of my adult memories. I don't like the thought that I've now been an adult longer than I was a kid. (You know, if I was half as serious as I like to pretend I'd skip both of those milestones and have something clever to say about the 40th anniversary of the 6 Day War which is also this month. Alas, I guess pop culture is all the deeper I get.)
