Expectations
This reminds me a little too much of the expectations games in 2000 and 2004. Particularly when it came time for Bush and Gore or Bush and Kerry to debate. If you hold Obama to one standard of oration and measure McCain against a lower standard and the results are certain: Obama will rarely meet his impossibly high standard while McCain will easily meet his improbably low standard.
