Style switch
Going forward I'll be going backward to shorter, more frequent posting. If I save all the good Smilin' Norm stuff for Thursdays, I'm out of date. If I publish the good stuff as it happens, I'm stuck with junk for Empty Suit Thursday.I'm not giving up on the special days. Mondays will remain Rapturific. Thursdays will still feature Smilin' Norm. Fridays will highlight Free and Open Source Software. I'll put together an omnibus edition of the week's items that fall into each category. The omnibus editions will then be linkable from the main page, just as they are now.
The downside, of course, is for regular readers who will be faced with the same ugly truths about Smilin' Norm on Monday morning and Thursday afternoon. You should feel free to skim through the updates looking for naughty words or your name. With the time you save, you could click on the Google ads.
