The second is a more straight forward takedown of the bogus claims that ID makes and the flawed reasoning (and basic ignorance of evolutionary theory) of the academics pushing the theory. It is written by the always insightful Robert Wright (not to be confused with the sometimes insightful Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich). His book NonZero is one of at least a dozen great books that I am about 2/3 of the way thru. Just about every article of his I have read has been the sort that in the old days would have been torn out and saved. Why oh why couldnt that open columnist seat at the NYT have been given to him instead of that wind-up cymbal clapping monkey John Tierney?
