During a race on Sunday, September 18, NASCAR racer Robby Gordon shocked viewers by verbally exploding against fellow driver, Michael Waltrip, after an on-track racing incident.
"Everyone thinks Michael is a good guy. He is not the good guy like he acts like he is. Caution was out, and he wrecked me," Gordon said. "He's a piece of sh--!"
...TNT did not choose to use a delay mechanism to allow the word to be bleeped out. By the same token, NASCAR knew Gordon uses foul language, but decided to interview him anyway, without precautions.
I call on the AFA to make sure that neither George "Major League Asshole" Bush nor Dick "Go Fuck Yourself" Cheney ever appears on television without precautions again. Rather than a simple delay, I suggest that neither known-swearer be permitted near children without wearing a ball gag.
