CP has a run down on Smilin' Norm's vote on the reconciliation bill. I am happy to give Smilin' Norm an A+ for this vote. It brings his cumulative GPA to about 0.2, but this time Coleman not only kept a campaign promise, he voted for good policy.

, atI'm not buying it. I'll stick by my post of last night. They did a whip count on this vote and when they saw there were a couple votes to spare they let Norm cover his fat political ass. I havbe no doubt that if Norms would ahve been the deciding vote he would have gone the other way. Is there anything at all in his history to indicate he would ahve done otherwise?
I think you're right, Jambo, but in the end we should judge politicians by how they vote, not how they came to the vote.
