Just posting it for the bad joke
I remember thinking back around 9/11 how ridiculous it was that the Army was discharging bright Arabic translators just because they turned out to be gay. Almost 6 years later the NYT is running an editorial pointing out the Don't Ask Don't Tell has sharply decreased the military's quantity of cunning linguists. Thank you, I'll be here all week.
