From the Minnesota Monitor I see that I formerly lived in what is currently the best city in America, Middleton, Wisconsin, and now live on the precipice of the 28th best city in America, Apple Valley, Minnesota.
Middleton is a great place to live, if you like Madison. And Madison is a great place to live...if you like Madison. I did, Ms. Hammer didn't. Yadda yadda yadda, we live in (near) Apple Valley now.
Apple Valley is a great place to live if you like big box shopping. You've got your Menard's, your Home Depot, a Target Huge Land, a Wal-Mart Super-dee-doo, Best Buy, and 14 Walgreenses. School District 196 is wonderful. Housing costs are ridiculous. Traffic can be a nightmare.
Anyway, the wife apparently has good taste in cities. It's just that, apparently, mine is better.
