Birth control is a pesticide? Like TBogg says, the best thing that can happen to the pro choice movement is to get Leslee Unruh on TV more often.

You mean the South Dakota that voted down the "nation's most sweeping abortion ban" pushed by Unruh? Or that other South Dakota, the cartoony, hunting deer all day and drinking Hamm's all night, never once sending McGovern or Daschle to Washington, existing only in the minds of Minnesotans, one of whom at least ought to know better?
Just yanking your chain... Unruh is way out there. But one hopes the comments here don't sink to the depths of many of those on Think Progress.

Hey man, no matter how many Wellstones and Gene McCarthys we elected here I still spent years answering for Jesse and Norm. (Tho Jesse turned out to be relatively harmless.)
As a South Dakotan, I feel embarassed whenever Leslee Unruh "represents" us. But in talking to people, even pro-lifers who supported the abortion ban are embarassed by her.
