If Bush really wanted to help DeLay, he should write check. In the first quarter of 2005, DeLay's legal defense fund raised about 20% of what they extracted from hacks and shills in the fourth quarter of 2004. Instead, they are contributing with rides on Air Force One and run on sentences:
