It feels like Friday

It kinda feels like Friday already, and
Shakespeare's Sister has a fun rundown of political donations from celebrities. You can review the
database yourself, or trust her expert analysis and my lousy two cents.
- Herb Alpert has donated 10 times as much to Democrats as Tim Robbins.
- Family Ties: Meredith Baxter has donated about $30,000 to Democrats. Michael J. Fox: $10,000. Justine Bateman: $1,000. Michael Gross and Tina Yothers have made no contributions.
- Spinal Tap: Christopher Guest has donated $20,000 to Democrats. Harry Shearer and Michael McKean have made no contributions. (Shearer surprises me, he's pretty active)
- Simpsons: Matt Groenig has donated $32,000 to Democrats. Hank Azaria: $3,200. Dan Castellaneta: $1,000. Nancy Cartwright has donated $1,000 to Republicans. Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith, Harry Shearer: no contributions.
- Boogie Nights: Heather Graham has donated $2,300 to Democrats. Julianne Moore, Mark Wahlberg: $2,000. Burt Reynolds, Paul Thomas Anderson: $1,500. Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, William H. Macy, Philip Seymour Hoffman: no contributions.
- Guys someone has a thing for Tim Robbins: $6,000 to Democrats. Robert Smith, Philip Seymour Hoffman, no contributions.

Curse you Hammer! I followed that same link and you beat me to the post!
All I can add is:
Old Star Trek--Democrats, new Star Trek--Republicans. (That should finally settle THAT old debate once and for all.)
Eagles the band--Democrats, Eagles the NFL team--well, nothing. But it would have been kind of fun if any of them had given some token amount to Republicans.
And say what you will about the band, but Don Henley has transfered $700,000.00 from KQ listeners to the Democratic party.
