Mouth kissing
It can be difficult to distinguish legitimate disagreement with ridiculousness in comments. So, at first, I was disappointed to read that disappointed Kevin. In Kevin's view my injudicious use of a quote was misleading, if not an outright lie.I checked out Kevin's blog to see what passes for legitimate argument with him. The latest post has a link to the Drudge Report. Drudge reports on Ed Klein's book about Hillary Clinton. Klein writes that Bill Clinton raped Hillary to conceive Chelsea. Pretty high-minded stuff.
Plus, the book presents this picture of Clinton kissing a woman. Drudge presents this tidbit alongside an accusation that Bill Clinton had a torrid affair with a Chappaqua woman after leaving office. Here's the Drudge picture:
Crooks and Liars provides some context:
It's just a shame that Drudge couldn't find a decent picture of Clinton at a Kerry rally talking to a woman. His picture is dark and blurry. You can't really tell what's going on. Sure, Drudge's picture better fits his insinuation, but that's not at all intentionally misleading.
BTW, I found the Crooks and Liars link because I read Clever Peasantry every morning.
