Bad aim?

Posted by: Hammer / 12:22 PM

MRW follows up on Sen. Smilin' Norm Coleman's (R-MN) travel habits:

Coleman ...stressed that none of the trips were funded by lobbyists, although his chief of staff said that lobbyists probably attended some of the trips. And he said the trips were aimed at helping him become a better senator, not to play golf at expensive resorts.

One of those trips was to Pebble Beach, home of the 2006 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Smilin' Norm wasn't aiming to play golf at an expensive resort...but he sure had the opportunity.
