Anyone who has played Dance Dance Revolution on "Very Hard" knows it's a work out. It's not a surprise, then, that West Virginia is using DDR to encourage teens to get more exercise.
DDR can be a good cardiovascular workout. Plus, it's fun, even though you can't blow anything up while playing. On the other hand, it's hell on knees. Lots of bouncing on one foot on slippery floor pads in stock feet. Nothing but a wafer thin (in my case) slice of cartilage to cushion the impact. Yes. I'm too old and broken to play video games. Sad, really.
It'll be sadder, still, if the new Nintendo Revolution is everything I hope it will be. Combine the new controller with a DDR-style floor pad and you could have a total-body boxing game.
If I could unlock a W to pummel instead of Bald Bull or Glass Joe I could unleash some pent up frustrations.
The new Revolution should be amazing for the simple fact that they have announced that it will be a virtual system that will play EVERY SINGLE GAME NINTENDO HAS EVER RELEASED!! Ahhhhh...Paperboy and Contra here we come.

, atAbsolutely. I'm not clear on how you'll have to pay for Paperboy, though. If you still have the cartridge, it oughta be free. But if you don't, I think you can download the games to your Revolution for a fee.
