Smug, small man
I've been listening to Brownie's appearance before the Senate this morning. I find him to be a smug, small man with no connection to the human tragedy that unfolded on his watch.
Every time he chuckles, every time he appreciates his own clever turn of phrase, I sense an utter disconnect between Brown and the consequences of the disastrous response to Katrina.
