A rare victory for common sense (and our kids)

Posted by: Hammer / 4:01 PM

For those paying attention to the ABC Path to 9/11 debacle, some good news is afoot. Scholastic is pulling the original classroom materials that piggy-backed on Disney's fantasy version of events and is producing new materials. Sample question:

1. Media Literacy - what is a docudrama; how does it differ from a documentary; what are the differences between factual reporting and a dramatization?

Now, if we could just get more "facts" and "reporting" into the evening news (and fewer pictures of Baby Cruise -- I'm looking at you Katie Couric) we'd really have something.
