Peter Boyle, dead at 71
I enjoyed just about everything he did. Peter Boyle, dead at 71. Imagine going from Young Frankenstein to Taxi Driver.

I'm having a hard time coming up with an actor that had as broad of a range as he did. There was his turns as McCarthy in "Tailgunner Joe" and his appearance in "Taxi Driver", the monster in "Young Frankenstein" (the best comedy ever - this is fact, not opinion), his Emmy-winning role on the X-Files, and finally as the king of "holy crap", Frank Barone on "Everybody Love Raymond". Not to mention having John Lennon as the best man at his wedding should make Jambo the most jealous man on earth.

I just learned about that yesterday. Now those are some wedding pictues I'd like to see.
I agree. The only other case of major actor jealousy that comes close is Christopher Lee sitting down with Tolkien in his pub, sharing pints and talking about LOTR.
