Good God! I'm falling behind the nation!
Jeebus Criminey! 45% of Americans think Bush should be impeached. 55% think Cheney should be impeached. I'm willing to listen to arguments on both scores, but I think the impeachment of Clinton has raised the bar for impeachable offenses. I'm a believer in government. I want to see government work. I don't want to see tit-for-tat impeachment fights bringing down presidencies over trivialities.
If I had a vote, I would not support impeachment of either Bush or Cheney. At least, I wouldn't support impeachment right now.
I would not support impeachment for anything done before January, 2007. I would only support impeachment for ongoing breaches of the law or offenses against the Constitution. If Cheney ignored a subpoena with notice that impeachment would result from a failure to respond, I could support impeachment.
And, apparently, that puts me in the conservative minority...

Help Final Push to Impeachment

key representatives in the House!
Support for impeachment is building. As of this writing, 14 reps are supporting Dennis Kucinich's resolution to impeach Dick Cheney (H. Res. 333).

You may not realize that the only thing standing between where we are today and a nationally televised impeachment investigation is the House Judiciary passing this resolution, which is currently awaiting consideration in their
committee. Luckily, the head of this committee, John Conyers, has said recently that he supports of the national impeachment movement.
All we need to push it over the edge is public support, and that's where we come in.
