George Galloway: the gift that keeps on giving

Posted by: Hammer / 3:18 PM

Bear in my that the source has a stronger point of view than most blogs. Still, the depiction of the exchange brightens my day. From the Socialist Worker:
"So Senator, did he get the better of you?" Senator Norm Coleman’s face fell as he stood before the small crowd of expectant journalists. Struggling to find an answer that wouldn’t betray his dismay, Senator Coleman settled with, "Well, um, it wasn’t a contest."

"But senator, you have nothing," said the journalist. The statement hung in the air.

It wasn't a contest? Truer words have come from an emptier suit. Galloway pantsed you like a bully on a playground. Hats off to you, Sen. Smilin' Norm Coleman, for finally finding some truth.
