Extralegality

Posted by: Hammer / 12:54 PM

Following up on the Cucking Stool from yesterday. There's never been a question that there were abuses in the Oil for Food program. Smilin' Norm's gambit has been two fold. One, use the Oil for Food abuses to indict Kofi Annan because Annan had the audacity to point out the extralegality of the invasion of Iraq. Two, attack the UN in an effort to please the Black Helicopter right. Of course, when pushes come to shoves, Smilin' Norm is nowhere to be seen (kind of like today's Empty Suit Thursday...). The charges against Galloway will not be followed up and Coleman's UN reform bill was remarkably toothless.

Galloway is widely regarded as a jerk, here and in the UK. But man, was it fun to watch him take Norm apart.

I know very little about Galloway, but he makes me nervous. My instinct is to celebrate him for taking about Norm, but I'm guessing he has quite a few skeletons in his closet.
