CNN puts Bush's job approval at 32%. It's an outlier:
[A] Pew Center poll carried out April 7-16 gave Bush a 35 percent approval rating; a Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll carried out last Tuesday and Wednesday gave him a 33 percent approval rating; and an American Research Group poll carried out Tuesday through Friday gave him a 34 percent approval rating.
CNN, because of its liberal bias, is pushing 32 when the real number is probably 33 or 34.
In all sincerity, this is a number without much mass. A little bit of good news, and Bush will rebound quickly to 40%. I strongly suspect that many of the people who tell pollsters that they disapprove of Bush today say that because they perceive a general, consensus disapproval of Bush. They are going along with the tide, not expressing genuine personal opinion.
