A faux republican, to be sure. Funny, though, I must have missed your comments about the article on Sarah Jane Olson that was in the Trib a couple of days ago.

Here's the article on Olson. Beale did have strong ties to the Republican party:
He was a Minnesota delegate to the Republican National Convention in the 1980s, Bradford Beale said, and contributed more than $10,000 to Republican candidates in the 1990s, according to Federal Election Commission records. He founded the Minnesota Christian Coalition, which is affiliated with the politically oriented Christian Coalition of America.

Olson was a member of the SLA, which with no direct ties to the Democratic party.

The fugitive from justice gave $1,749.50 to Republican Brian Sullivan's campaign for Governor.

He's a true blue-blooded Republican, alright. As the Hammer says, he meets and exceeds the standard requirements.
