I'm sure, SURE that John Kline will denounce this in no uncertain terms:
If you look closely, you can see a little shading under Dean's nose. Markos Moulitsas of DailyKos also posted a copy of the picture yesterday afternoon, noting the shading. By later that afternoon, the image on the RNC's Web site had changed...
That's right. It appears that the RNC gave Howard Dean just a little "touch up" to make him more Hitler-esque. Or, perhaps, Chaplin-esque. I'll cut them the benefit of the doubt.
John Kline, of course complained about a similar incident:
Dear Mrs. Rowley, It has come to my attention that you have placed on your campaign website a doctored photo of me in which my military uniform has been replaced by a Nazi uniform. I demand that you immediately remove from your website that outrageous and disgusting insult to me, my family, and every man and woman who has ever worn a military uniform in defense of our country.
Of course, in Kline's case, the comparison was to Col. Klink, the bumbling television character. Dean's being compared to history's penultimate evil?
Given this and Kennedy's fraudulent endorsement of Lieberman, two Minnesota Democrats should have very good weeks.
