Rowley/Kline close? Maybe.

Posted by: Hammer / 2:30 PM

Smartie takes a look at Minnesota's 2nd district race. Here's what interests me:

So Kline has spent more than double what his peers have on polling. Does that sound like someone who's cruising to victory?

Kline has spent twice as much on polling as Gil Gutknecht, who faces a very credible challenger in Tim Walz. The race is going to change a lot over the next two months. I think, in general, Republicans are going to improve on their numbers. They aren't good at policy, but they excel at message. If we've learned anything in the last 2 elections, it's that the Republican machine can close the deal. Still, Kline is much more conservative than the district he represents. Rowley faces a stiff challenge, but those are the sweetest victories.

1 Comments:

Kline isn't helping hiimself in this race with the racist rants of his paid staff against Veterans and the sources he decides to take money from. I have more at lakevilleDad.com
