Republican congress cuts and runs
In what has the feel of the last act of petulant child the outgoing GOP congress has decided not to pass a real budget for 2007 (something they were supposed to have done months ago) and instead head home early and hope that the mess will cause problems for the incoming Democrats in January. So, do you suppose this will get as much coverage as the (false) story that outgoing Clinton aides "trashed" the White House before leaving in 2000?
