The war in Iraq was a huge mistake, our belligerent foreign policy has done serious damage to our position in the world, and our supposed war footing at home has resulted in an unacceptable loss of civil liberties. But that said, we would do well to remember that there are people out there who are just f'n scary:
Hundreds of demonstrators in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, poured into the streets on Friday demanding the execution of a British teacher who was convicted of insulting Islam because her class of 7-year-olds named a teddy bear Muhammad.
I hope the Christian fundies here in the states don't catch on to this mindset because if it is coupled with the anti-immigrant movement there will be a lot of roofers and crop pickers named Jesus who are in big trouble. At least if those mouth breathers ever figure out just where the name "Hay-sus" comes from.
