The richest get richer
Carl Pohlad, Twins owner, is the richest owner in baseball. So, of course, Hennepin County wants to buy him stuff -- like a new baseball park. Minnesota Politics has a post about an alternative financing plan put forward by Phil Krinkie and John Marty. If the Krinkie-Marty plan truly is a fairer deal for average Minnesotans, Pohlad will probably reject it out of hand -- why dip a straw in the public trough when you can immerse your head and suck like an Oreck?
