Norm Coleman: Priceless Partisanship

Posted by: Hammer / 9:59 AM

Smilin' Norm Coleman will say anything -- anything -- printed on RNC letterhead. This might set a record:

The chairman of the Democratic Senate campaign committee [Charles Schumer] is sucking the oxygen out of that atmosphere of collegiality and constructive cooperation by trying to make a partisan issue of something that is being handled by a special counsel today. Stop the partisan attacks. Let's get away from the gotcha politics of Washington today.

That's right -- Coleman contends that Senate Democrats are unfairly politicizing the fact that high-ranking Bush administration officials compromised national security by revealing the identity of an undercover CIA operative as political retribution against a man who dared to speak the truth about Iraq's nuclear program.
