Strib readers respond to Coleman's defense of Rove
Several good letters in the Strib today. Read them all. Some of my favorites:
Why is Coleman defending Rove? For the same reason as Bush: Rove helped both win elections. For the senator and the president, national security is secondary to politics.
and...
I seem to recall that the senator was less patient with the investigative process when he was calling for Kofi Annan's resignation in December. No, that situation called for maximal grandstanding -- not restraint, the presumption of innocence or the demands of more pressing legislation.
