For those who don't watch Senate campaigns two years out (including me, but only because I'm focused on the Senate campaign 4 years out) as intently as your average paid staffer, there's a wee bit of a scandal in the Mark Kennedy for Senate campaign. Kennedy's campaign web site had posted a series of flattering articles from a couple news sources. The articles were especially flattering, because Kennedy's staffers excised anything negative in the articles. To make matters worse, there was no indication that changes had been made to the original text.
The Kennedy campaign has since revised its article policy. I'm not too worked up over it -- few people will notice and it's not that big of an issue. Do you really expect to find negative information on the candidate's own web site? I find it silly rather than nefarious.
Still and all, just in case someone takes a fall, Matt at MN Publius has put together quite an amusing job application.
