The most un-American vote they'll ever cast

Posted by: Jambo / 12:31 AM

With Thursday's creeping totalitarianism vote the following Democrats have put themselves on the wrong side of history, the wrong side of freedom, the wrong side of justice:

Carper (D-DE), Johnson (D-SD), Landrieu (D-LA), Lautenberg (D-NJ), Lieberman (D-CT), Menendez (D-NJ), Nelson (D-FL), Nelson (D-NE), Pryor (D-AR), Rockefeller (D-WV), Salazar (D-CO), Stabenow (D-MI)

Needless to say not a single damn one of the bastards on the Republican side of the aisle had the courage to say maybe, just maybe, the founding fathers might have been on to something with all that liberty talk.

Update: Whoops, just realized that the above should read "the following Democrats and Joe Liberman".

Didn't Chafee vote against this nonsense? I read on This Modern World a run down of some of the Dems who voted for this bill. Carper has a 40 point lead in DE. Ben Nelson has a 23 point lead in NE. Bill Nelson is up 28 points in FL.

Which is worse? 1) Voting for the bill because you believe in it; or 2) Voting for the bill to stay in office?
