Smilin' Norm's burger porn money
For those who found the Deep Throat revelations to be anti-climactic, Clever Peasantry has a new dose of quasi-porn to pique your interest:
Carl's Jr. is a subsidiary of CKE Restaurants, Inc. (NYSE: CKR). CKE is run by a man named Andy Puzder....Andy Puzder. CKE. Fidelity National. Got it....Good ol' Senator Post [aka Smilin' Norm Coleman] (R-MN) has received 3 donations (for a total of $5,000) from the master of burger porn (barely work safe).
Background:
Hamburger chain Carl's Jr. is making no apologies for its new Spicy Burger television commercial, which features Hilton hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton in a skin-tight swimsuit soaping up a Bentley and crawling all over it before taking a big bite out of the burger.
The ad, which has been running in major markets since last week, has drawn the ire of television watchdogs, including the Parents Television Council.
