This is funny, but as a fan its also very very sad in its way.

There have been many times that I've been reading C&H and thought: the kid is an ADHD poster child.

I know of a few writers who claim ADHD meds rob them of their creativity. Whoever did this strip definitely was onto something.

Just to be clear, this is an alternate final strip. The actual final strip was much more hopeful: "It's a magical world, Hobbes ol' buddy!" Calvin exclaims in the last panel. "Let's go exploring!"

Hammer's right, I maybe should have noted that when I posted it. It actually makes reference to the real final strip which ends with C and H taking off on a sled into new fallen snow.

The Wikipedia entry for the Complete C&H notes that the set includes all strips, except one.

Anyone know what one strip is missing, why, and where an electronic or print version of that one strip can be had?

I think it's the one where Calvin urinates on a Ford.
