National Guard: Best Care for Returning Troops
Sen. Norm Coleman and Gov. Tim Pawlenty are arguing that current policy forbidding mandatory activities for National Guard and Reserve soldiers in the 60 days following their return home. The idea is that mandatory activities can help identify soldiers with the greatest need for support and services.
Sounds like an idea with merit.
