Kind of a good news/bad news post

Posted by: Jambo / 11:16 PM

Mr. Sponge over at Minvolved is taking a blogging break (boooo!) but wants help filling up his iPod (yeah!) before he goes. Help him make the all time great playlist here. Personally I'd prefer he skip the PhD and keep blogging since he is consistently the most interesting and thought-provoking local blogger and one that if he put his heart into it would be deserving of a national, Atrios/Washington Monthly size readership.

That said, he really does need help with his song list. Some of what he has so far is spot on (woo hoo, Gang of Four!), others, well, let's just say the sooner they get knocked off the list the better.

I found this quote interesting:

expelling God from the school and from the government, replacing him with evolution, where the strong kill the weak, without moral consequences and life has no inherent value.

is this really what right wingers believe? the country was founded on the notion that church should be seperate from the govt, and right now, the USA is boardering on being a theocracy.

the movie "jesus camp" is brainwashing kids to believe anyone but thier little corner of christianity is 'bad'.
